Just how powerful is the Gooxi Intel® Eagle Stream 8-GPU RTX 5090 AI server? Let’s break down what makes this performance powerhouse a game-changer in AI infrastructure.
As shown, the Gooxi Intel® Eagle Stream 8-GPU RTX 5090 AI server (model SY6108G-G4) packs unmatched compute power into a compact 6U chassis. But it’s not just about the sleek exterior—what truly sets it apart is the raw performance under the hood.
SY6108G-G4 supports 1–2 fourth- or fifth-generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, with each CPU delivering up to 350W TDP. It offers 32 DDR5 DIMM slots with a 50% boost in memory bandwidth, enabling efficient multi-threaded computing. With 12 hybrid SATA/SAS/NVMe drive bays and 2 M.2 slots, it builds a foundation for a high-speed, petabyte-scale storage pool.
Designed with up to 13 PCIe slots—8 of them dedicated to GPUs—the SY6108G-G4 stands out for its high-density GPU architecture. It supports 8 triple-fan, full-height NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPUs (up to 70.1 mm wide and 600W per card). This multi-GPU setup delivers massive parallel computing power for AI training, inference, and graphics workloads.
From image recognition and deep learning to natural language processing, the SY6108G-G4 delivers exceptional performance across the board. When paired with dual-width, turbo-fan variants, it performs even better. Compared to the RTX 4090, the RTX 5090 takes the lead with HBM3E memory (141 GB) and NVLink interconnect technology—offering a clear advantage in large-scale AI model training. By Q2 2025, RTX 5090 had already captured an 18% share of China’s AI server market.
SY6108G-G4 comes equipped with Intel® Ethernet 700 Series X710 network cards, supporting dual QSFP+ ports at 40 Gb/s each—aggregated up to 80 Gb/s. RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet) enables zero-copy data transfers, reducing CPU overhead and latency in large-scale training environments. Additionally, reserved OCP 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 slots offer flexibility for future upgrades with network accelerators, storage accelerators, or AI inference cards—ensuring long-term scalability.
Gooxi adopts an innovative cooling system with a front-rear 6+2 GPU layout and dual vertical airflow channels, optimizing cooling efficiency. The system includes 12 hot-swappable 6056 fans and 4 hot-swappable 8038 fans. Its dual-zone cooling strategy, combined with intelligent thermal control, ensures precise and adaptive heat dissipation for different components.
The thermal design has been specially optimized for turbo-fan versions of the RTX 5090, overcoming limitations of traditional 4+4 layouts. Enhanced airflow pathways prevent localized overheating, maintaining stability under heavy GPU loads. Even under full load, the server delivers consistent and reliable performance—perfect for demanding AI training and inference workloads.
Gooxi SY6108G-G4 6U 8-GPU AI server, built on the Intel® Eagle Stream platform, achieves seamless support for 8 triple-width GPUs. Its modular architecture, massive memory capacity, ultra-fast storage, and intelligent management tools make it a high-performance, cost-effective solution for cloud gaming, digital twins, and large-scale AI model training.
“The 6U 8-GPU lineup isn’t a standard off-the-shelf product—it’s a tailored solution designed around specific customer needs,” said Niu Hui, Gooxi’s Product Director.
“It inherits the proven foundation of our 4U 8-GPU architecture and makes a breakthrough in space optimization and GPU compatibility, boosting per-U compute density by 40% and helping customers reduce acquisition costs.”
Now fully optimized for AI frameworks like DeepSeek, the SY6108G-G4 offers an end-to-end solution for model training and inference. With its open ecosystem and outstanding performance-to-cost ratio, this platform is accelerating digital transformation across industries such as smart manufacturing, healthcare, and autonomous driving—making high-performance computing more accessible than ever.
